Strengths:
- After further discussion in class and in our group, we found that our strengths lied in the creative side of the film making.
- We thought the use of the manikin as a prop and the shot reverse shot were particularly effective to our narrative.
- The reason for this effectiveness was our storyboard planning, and so we will aim to replicate in our final piece.
- We feel that we need to improve our editing technique, as there are some rough cuts and sloppy mistakes in this first preliminary.
- We also needed to take more shots with several different camera angles and techniques to give ourselves a bigger range to choose from when we come to editing our next work.
- Continuity errors on location like lighting also affect the quality of this piece, so that is another condition we will need to control during the production of our final piece.
- Our reccie at Wilderness Woods was a very helpful task, as it enabled us to plan out our shots.
- This gave us the ability to see what worked well and what didn't, in a large area.
- The reccie also allowed us to reference certain areas, to ensure that continuity would match up.
